I know I'm wrong for snooping my bf's search history. I was suspicious of this so I checked his search history on his iPad and found pornography sites - this hurts me because he could have stayed in bed with me but instead chose to go and masturbate to porn alone. I find this hurtful and disrespectful. But what do other people think? Does your partner also do this stuff? And should I say anything to him?

It's perfectly normal to watch porn. Perhaps you could suggest that you both watch some together and see what he says.

How sure are you that he's addicted to it? Just because you found pornsites on his browsing history it doesn't automatically mean that he's addicted to it. Also I would suggest that you don't confront him about it because he would find out that you're checking his browsing history behind his back.

Before you accuse him of being addicted to porn, I would suggest that you need to catch him watching it more than once. And I think that being addicted to porn is better than being addicted to drugs or booze.

When I was in a relationship I also hide porn stuff in my phone and put it in a folder encrypted with passwords. Sometimes I had the urge to watch it before we have sex. I think you should talk to him so you can understand why he had it.

I think porn and masturbation is more a guy thing and I see nothing wrong with it. I would watch the porn with him also, as long as it's adult stuff.

Why not just leave him alone with his porn for now. If you want to be sure, why not ask him about it. Just because you saw on his search history that he's watching them, it doesn't automatically mean that he's addicted to it.
